Pan Zhanle SMASHES the world record in the 100m freestyle in Paris
Chinese swimmer Pan ZHanle broke his own world record in the 100m freestyle, swimming the event in 46.40 seconds. That was .40 seconds faster than his previous record and 1.08 seconds behind second-place swimmer Kyle Chalmers of the USA. This was the first Olympic gold medal for Pan, but probably not his last!
