Sea Lion Escapes from Central Park Zoo!

Due to the severe rainfall in New York City, it was reported that a female sea lion at the Central Park Zoo was able to swim out of her pool because of flooding in the plaza. Zoo staff kept a close watch on the sea lion as she explored the area before eventually returning to the pool and reuniting with the other two sea lions. The water levels have since receded, and the animals are back in their exhibit, authorities said. Whew!
